No. Kuest doesn't execute code or load your files. Paste the code, the error and a few rows of output, like the result of df.head() or df.describe(), and Kuest helps you interpret it and decide what to try next.

Do I need to know statistics first?

Not all of it. Kuest teaches the statistics as you need it, starting with mean, median and spread, and adds hypothesis testing and regression when your analysis calls for them.

Good catch that they differ so much. What would have to be true about the data for the mean to be that much higher than the median?

Maybe a few people have really high incomes?

That's the usual reason. How could you check that in pandas or with a chart?

df["income"].describe() to see the max and quartiles, or a histogram to see if it's skewed right.

Exactly. If it's right-skewed, the median better describes a typical person, and you can mention the mean to show the skew.

In skewed data the mean gets pulled toward the tail, so the median usually describes the typical value better.
