See how Kuest teaches it

It asks before it tells, so you do the thinking and it sticks.

You: How many moles are in 36 g of water (H₂O)?
Kuest: To go from grams to moles you need the molar mass. Using the periodic table, what's the molar mass of H₂O?
You: Hydrogen is about 1 and oxygen is about 16, so 17 g/mol.
Kuest: Good values. Check the formula again: how many hydrogen atoms are in H₂O?
You: Two. So 2 + 16 = 18 g/mol, and 36 ÷ 18 = 2 moles.
Kuest: 2 moles. Always count atoms from the subscripts before adding masses.

Molar mass counts every atom in the formula; moles = grams ÷ molar mass.

The method

How to study Chemistry with Kuest

Chemistry rewards practice more than reading: you learn stoichiometry and equilibrium by working many problems and checking units at every step. Mix problem types, make each conversion explicit, and come back to the hard ones after a few days.

  1. Ask what's going on at the particle levelTutor chat

Before the formula, Kuest asks what the atoms and molecules are doing, so the math has a picture behind it.

  2. See reactions and structures drawnTeaching board

The teaching board draws Lewis structures, molecular shapes and balanced reactions step by step, next to a periodic table.

  3. Snap your worksheet problemsSnap a photo

Photograph a stoichiometry or gas law problem and work through each conversion, with Kuest checking units as you go.

  4. Practice mixed problem setsQuizzes

Get quizzes that mix calculations and concept questions, so you learn to choose the right method, not just repeat one.

  5. Find your weak spotsGap finder

See whether your misses come from molar mass, balancing, units or the concept itself, and practice that part.

  6. Sit a timed mock examMock exams

Before a unit test or the AP exam, take a practice test with multiple-choice and free-response calculations under time.
